as recognized by the American Board of Audiology .


CH-TM is a comprehensive tinnitus management education program providing essential information

for assessing and managing patients with tinnitus or decreased sound tolerance.

Types of Tinnitus Therapy

At Audiology Associates of Westchester, we utilize the following tinnitus therapies:  
  • Hearing Aids – A hearing aid can offer partial or complete hearing assistance. 
  • Maskers – A tinnitus masker is an electronic device that can cover up the ringing sound.
  • Allergy Treatment – Allergy symptoms can exacerbate tinnitus, so allergy treatment may be involved in getting rid of tinnitus.  
What Should I do if I Have Tinnitus?
If you hear a ringing in your ears, we encourage you to make an appointment at Audiology Associates of Westchester. With locations in White Plains, Harrison, and Scarsdale, NY, as well as the opening of our Somers, NY office on 9/13/21, our team will continue to help our clients throughout Greenwich, CT; Mt. When you visit one of our locations, our team will proceed to conduct audiometric testing to find out the extent of and source of the problem. Our diagnosis will also include treatment suggestions, along with a referral to an ear, nose, and throat doctor if necessary. In the meantime, we recommend that those experiencing tinnitus avoid loud noises, alcohol, and smoking to keep symptoms from getting any worse.
